What Personal Information does NetLaw collect?
The Personal Information we gather from Users enables us to personalize and improve our Services. We collect the following types of Personal Information from our Users:
Email Communication with NetLaw
We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from NetLaw if your computer supports this type of program. NetLaw uses this confirmation to help us make emails more interesting and helpful and improve our Service.
Mobile device physical location
Some mobile phone service providers are required to operate a system that will pinpoint the physical location of devices that use their service. Depending on the provider, NetLaw may automatically receive this information.
Mobile device identification information. When you connect to the Service on your internet-enabled mobile device, if your service provider uniquely identifies the device, NetLaw will receive this information. NetLaw may use your unique mobile device identification information to offer you extended services and/or functionality. Certain Services may require our collection from you of the number for your mobile device. Additionally, through the use of your mobile device, we may collect your phone number and/or name. We may associate that information to the mobile device identification information and other information we have collected from and about you.
Personal Information You Provide to Us. We receive and store any Personal Information you enter on our Service or provide to us in any other way. The types of Personal Information collected may include your email address, name, user name, mobile phone number, IP address, use information, zip code, age, gender, and browser information including the information and Documents you provide to NetLaw as a User, which are specifically governed by the Usage Terms. You may also have the opportunity to provide the email addresses, mobile phone numbers, and/or social media contact information of friends or family members to tell them about the Service. We may combine the information we collect from you with information about you that we receive from other online and offline sources, such as from the NetLaw Associates, in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of the Service. For certain Services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of our combining such information. The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes as improving the content of the Service, customizing the offers, surveys, vouchers and other content you see, and communicating with you about new features. We may also draw upon this Personal Information in order to adapt the services of our community to your needs, to research the effectiveness of our network, and to develop new tools and features.
Personal Information Collected Automatically
We receive and store certain types of Personal Information whenever you interact with our Service. NetLaw automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested. Generally, our Service automatically collects usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Sites. In addition, our Service uses Google Analytics to anonymously track usage data within the application. Unless we ask for your permission (e.g., we have asked if you want to connect to one of our Services or a NetLaw Associate and you have affirmatively answered that you do), then NetLaw only uses this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us to figure out how often customers use parts of the Service so that we can make the Service appealing to as many customers as possible, and improve the Services. As part of this use of information, we may provide aggregate information to the NetLaw Associates about how Users, collectively, use our Services. We share this type of statistical data so that the NetLaw Associates also understand how often Users use their services and our Service, so that they, too, may provide you with an optimal online experience.
As part of the standard operation of the Service, we may collect certain non-Personal Information from you. For example, when you use the Service, your mobile phone automatically records and sends basic information about your use to NetLaw. This may include the dates and times you used the Service, your phone’s manufacturer and model and your response to messages the Service sends. We may combine this non-Personal Information with your Personal Information
What about cookies?
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in the Sites are visited and by how many people. NetLaw cookies do not collect Personal Information.
Will NetLaw share any of the Personal Information it receives?
NetLaw may share aggregate, non-Personal Information with NetLaw Associates, consultants, advertising clients, service providers, advertising agencies and other third parties.
We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information to anyone. We may share your Personal Information only as described below:
